One-day children and teen courses are held at the NYC Dhamma House, usually on the fifth Saturday of the month — about four times a year. These two courses are designed for boys and girls ages 8 to 12 and for teens 13 to 17.
All participants will learn anapana meditation through guided instructions, for periods of up to 30 minutes. Throughout the day, the children engage in stories, discussion sessions, snacks, games and art activities.
It is not necessary for children or their parents to have meditation experience.
